POSTER COLLECTION - CUBAThe 14 posters in this collection were mainly purchased by me on 6 or 7 September 1976 when we (with IGB) visited the fabulous 'L'Unita' - the Communist Festival, in Parma, Italy. (Visited there with IGB - we were on route from visiting Noel Hills (colleague from Central School - see Noela Hills) and her architect partner Bob who had rented a villa in Tuscany for the season.) They are mainly original Screen Printed posters purchased from the Cuban/Chilean delegation/s at the Festival. So included in the collection (see elsewhere) were a few original (historic) litho-printed posters from Allende's Chile. The dates on the posters seem to be a bit problematic - so some further research needed to ascertain the actual purchase date of these. Included, however, are some posters from some wonderful, and very famous, Cuban artists:
