Later in a TV documentary, Henry Moore added, "Whenever I look at nature, I cannot help but see human forms."
'Henry Moore', See my Journal 03, 1983. Ref: #8303-30. At the time I was quite mocking - naively. Humbly, I now see that he was more than right. I too now see human images, particularly faces or profiles just about everywhere. Apparently, for art, it has always been that the first rule of looking - is seeing. This is a collection of some funny/remarkable faces/portraits that I have found in some of the oddest of places. Please send me any you may have found that you might like to add to this collection. |
