DRAWING - ANNOTATED BOOKS - 2007 - 2017

This portfolio of drawings, created over ten years, consists of initial black ink line drawings - approximately 30 x 40cm on paper - which have then been scanned and digitally colour rendered.

Prompted by my speedy production of both concepts and drawings, and by a move from my studio in Shepherds Bush in London to a smaller but well equipped one in Farnborough, my drawings changed from wholly ink line on paper to utilizing the computer for colour rendering. So the time line for this portfolio is specifically from 2007.

A new phase in my work came in 2017 with a focus on transforming my sketchbook into an autonomous work as a journal, with most of my images imagined as a single frame from a larger, organic, but ongoing narrative - hence the journal.
